Sunrise from Glastonbury Tor : Sunday 2 February 2014 07:50 UTC |
Three weeks have elapsed since the above scene greeted us as dawn gave way to daybreak over the landscape that has generally become recognised as the Earth’s heart chakra – the Isle of Avalon. The Sun shone for us on that day.
Veronica, myself and another colleague of the group, were joined atop Glastonbury Tor by two others who travelled specifically from the English Midlands and Southampton for the occasion. We arrived two hours before sunrise to immerse ourselves into the zone of astronomical twilight and thus capture those precious moments of ley line expansion. Veronica is 77 years old and has had her fair share of health issues in the last 10 years. But she made it to the top of this 500 foot mound under darkness with our assistance! Where there is a will, there is a way!
The conditions were particularly cold with a high wind chill, which did not make it an entirely comfortable experience. Nevertheless we enjoyed good company during the growing dawn and ultimately, an incredible Sunrise on the special ancient cross quarter day of Imbolc or Candlemas or the day of St Brigid that once marked the beginning of spring. Lurking clouds were soon dispelled as the morning rays warmed the scene and erased the chill within our cold selves.
Apart from the golden Sun emerging from an unobstructed horizon, the particular frame shown above also captured two other interesting features on the day. First, observe how the emerging sunlight saturates a cone of radiance that arcs from the focus of our local star. Second, an interesting orb structure makes its presence known south-side of the Sun near the aforementioned arc. The object clearly appears to be in the foreground. Its bright nucleus is surrounded in a ‘bubble’ of nebulosity of apparently four Sun diameters (2 degrees) across. The outline of the ‘bubble’ is not entirely circular but has flattened edges towards its poles suggesting it may have a fast rotation. It’s lower hemisphere appears to be in shadow which is surprising if we are to assume the ‘bubble’ to be translucent and also given that the sunlight is directed from beneath. One can discern other features within the structure but I will leave interpretation to the eye of the beholder. It is strange how this object should appear on one of the sixteen frames taken during sunrise sequence.

In addition but not
photographed, a vast naked eye sunspot group was also prominent on the solar
photosphere, suggesting the strong possibility of an active stream of solar
winds interacting with Earth’s magnetosphere.
A little earlier, our Sun was
preceded over the horizon by the brilliant ‘morning star’, the ‘Magdalene’, the
embodiment of the Roman Goddess of Love - Venus. Set towards the northern-most
fringe of Sagittarius, the Earth’s sister planet outshone everything in the sky
as it led the way for the new day. Trailing minutes behind the rising Sun,
centred in Capricorn, was the illusive Mercury – the Messenger, amid none other
than the constellation of Aquarius – reminding us of a sign to herald in the
dawning Light of the next Golden Age. The waxing 3 day old moon for this
lunation followed closely behind Mercury; what timing to wish on a new moon and
for new beginnings. So symbolically, it would appear that a powerful array of
the Sun’s three innermost bodies assembled on the eastern horizon for this
event. And as the sky chart below shows, this planetary configuration resembles
a ‘winged disk’, with the Sun perfectly centred between the wing tips implied
by the Moon and Venus.

Under the Weather
As daylight broke that Sunday morning over the expansive fenland plains
of the Tor, we also witnessed the plight of those who have suffered for over
two months as a result of the perpetual “rains” and subsequent flooding, the
likes of which I have not known in 38 years of residing in the same landscape.
Homes, families, farms, animals and livelihoods besieged by flood water.
Preventative actions or immediate alleviation of this community’s
struggle seemingly overlooked by those they expected to have shown urgent
consideration and instant response. The sacred landscape appearing wanton, on
the verge of demise and open to the threat of contamination – its future
uncertain to its residents as the incessant ‘rains’ have still continued to
pour in recent weeks. It is not as if this area is without a known risk of
flooding for which ample provision for its easement has been built-in over a
great many years. So, what went wrong when deeds needed to be done?
One thing that I have learnt from my
own spiritual journey and that is this – nothing arises as a result of a
coincidence. Every effect has a cause. Every intent has an origin. At long
last, many more are now beginning to ask the right, deep and searching
questions and discerning their own answers rather than accepting outright the
ones ‘ready-made’ for them. And the questions that many of those native to the
Tor are now asking is why such intensity, why such insensitivity, why here and
why now? Moreover, the question that is frequently uttered in conversation
without external stimulus is “This can not be natural, surely?”
Interestingly, both the casual and critical observer is not only
noticing the sheer quantity and relentlessness of the precipitation falling
but, in more recent times, how it predominantly falls – in ‘pockets’ and
‘pulses’ for prolonged periods, even for days. The time constancy of the
interval between each pulse at a given pocket is more suggestive of an
intelligence rather than nature; is nature really so extensively repetitive and
rhythmic? There is no argument that a ‘climate change’, the successor to the
rhetorical ‘global warming’, is ongoing. That is not in doubt. The real
question for debate is what lies at the heart of its cause?
Those indigenous to these islands are renowned worldwide for insatiably
talking about the weather. Yet few seldom pause to realise what weather really
is. Weather is simply a reflection of a state of being. It is an effect not a
cause. It is a symptom not a condition. If someone informs you, as a living being,
that you are looking “under-the-weather” they are merely commenting on your
state of condition – that you are ‘off-colour’, ‘rundown’, tending towards
sickness or even in a state of ‘dis-ease’. The Earth is a living being too and
far more than an atmospheric-coated rock hurtling around its parental star. She
is alive, responsive and possesses a soul of her own. Weather is thus also the
physical manifestation of her state of imbalance. Such inequity is
exhibited on the ground as a surplus in one landscape and a deficit in another;
in the extremes, one man’s flood is another man’s drought and thus the
scientific principle of conservation of mass is followed.
Water is the fundamental working medium in Earth’s engine, powered by
sunlight, for displaying Earth’s state of being – its climate. Earth is 80%
water and so are we. Sunlight and water are also considered primary to
energising the subtle Earth energies that “flow” through ley lines. Sunlight
comprises many unique wavelengths and therefore frequencies, as do ley lines.
Such direct correspondences could thus suggest that Earth’s climate and the
energies that transmit via its ley lines, are strongly interconnected. If this
is the case, then one could envisage Earth’s overall condition being networked globally,
in some sort of world-wide spiritual transmission, via its ethereal grid to the
populous. In other words, we all end up feeling and reflecting Earth’s
condition. This is not as nonsensical as it first sounds if we ponder some
basic science.
Elementary physics informs that, by adding or subtracting heat energy
to or from the water molecule, it has the ability to reversibly change state
from vapour to water or from water to ice. In these processes, one either
excites or de-excites the atomic structure; in other words, there is a change
in the state of vibration of the water molecule itself. Weather can
therefore also be considered a reflection of the Earth’s state of vibration. By
changing the state of vibration of our environmental space, we also change our
own vibrational condition and well being. So we begin to explain why, in a fair
proportion of sunlight, we feel healthier and more “vibrant” than when being
constantly under cloud cover or deluge.
Sunlight is fundamental to personal
vitality and uplift. It is especially important to energising the ley lines of
Earth’s grid, especially at low solar elevations as we have already discovered.
As a healer from Brazil remarked following her meditative experience during the
2 February event, there is a definite link between sunlight, the pineal gland
and ley lines. She explained,
“That was
beautiful and I could feel that the ley lines are very strong to benefit our
pineal gland, because this precious gland is also activated by the sunlight.
Don't ask me how I know, because I felt. It is an inner knowing, understood by
emotions that run in my body. So, the ley lines are connected in some way with
our pineal gland.”
And, it would appear
that I may not have been the only one to have made the potential link between
climate and ley lines. Among the first one thousand emails to have been
received by the Montague and Veronica Keen Foundation’s ley line initiative was
the invitation for the Foundation’s participation in the 10th Annual
International Conference on Environment, Sustainability and Climate Change at
the University of Oxford later this year. The invitation is gratefully
acknowledged and is seen as a potential opportunity to widen the ley line
discussion as well as welcoming new innovative research in this field.
From Cloud Illusions
to Solar Storms
Remember that 1968 Joni
Mitchell hit song, "Both Sides Now"? The lyrics seem especially
appropriate in these present times of climate change,
“Bows and flows of angel hair and ice cream castles in
the air
and feather canyons everywhere, I've looked at clouds
that way.
But now they only block the sun, they rain and snow on
everyone.
So many things I would have done but clouds got in my
way.
I've looked at clouds from both sides now,
from up and down, and still somehow
it's cloud illusions I recall.
I really don't know clouds at all.”
The question is, do we really know the origins of the clouds we see in
our sky? As the song title suggests, there are at least two sides to any debate
and the matter of climate change does not find itself excluded from this
circumstance. It is as if there are two components operative to cause what
manifests as weather. They appear superimposed and in conflict – one that is
natural and directed from the Cosmos, the other seemingly induced artificially
that opposes that natural change. It is sometimes difficult to discern which is
which. However, they both have a common thread, an observable and long term
symptom of Earth’s current state of being – obscuration of sunlight.
The evidence on the ground since 2007 in southern England,
at least, confirms this fact. To my reckoning, the number of days in which even
diffuse sunlight has been available amounts to not more than one day in seven
on average, or just 15% of possible daylight hours. Sunlight-shrouding cloud
causes the Earth to cool by increasing its inherent albedo or reflectance
(shininess) and thus its heat rejection capability to space. Under sustained
cooling, the energy of the Earth’s working fluid –water, slows down to produce
a lower and ‘denser’ state of vibration. The consequence of this is that our
own energetic state of being reflects the environmental condition too.
It was in 2007, that global temperatures were shown to have impulsively
fallen by the same amount that they had risen since 1960[1]. Such
a circumstance had shown the progressive model of global warming to be
untenable when, in fact, the part of the thermal cycle that the Earth had then
entered was actually global cooling. Other datasets at the time corroborated
the measurements.
In April 2008, Peter Taylor, a leading environmentalist and consultant
on ecology, landscape, nature conservation and climatology, advisor to world
commissions and agencies, someone who actively embraces both physical and spiritual
sciences, made known his concerns as to the significance of the measured cloud
cover variations on climate change. His conclusion was astonishingly simple, “Cloud
changes can explain climate change[1].” More to the point,
following extensive data analysis, he was convinced that the cyclic variance in
cloud transparency better explained climate change than any sustained
anthropogenic emission of carbon dioxide. He argued that warming was happening
far too fast to be the result of build-up of greenhouse gases.
Peter also revealed that a prime driver of the cyclic cloud changes
were Cosmic influences. Between 1991 and 2004, scientists had already
established a direct correlation between cloud changes and cosmic rays
demonstrating that ionising cosmic radiation produces clouds. Furthermore, a
correspondence with Earth temperature and the solar magnetic cycle were also
determined by measurement. Indeed, if Earth cloud changes relate to the solar
wind – the stream of plasma radiation emanating from the Sun which induces an
electromagnetic current around the Earth, then what is to say that Earth’s ley
lines do not also capture and respond to these energising pulses? After all,
the Earth’s response to solar storms can be electrical power surges and the Aurora.
Those of you who supplied feedback of their experiences from the
inaugural meditation of 2 February all reported a personal success, measured as
a connection with the ley lines and unification with the ley line community
taking part. Before the event, we learnt that the pre-dawn and post-dusk low
elevation Sun was key to timing of the process. However, what many of us were
not aware of was yet another factor that could contribute to event timing and
amplification of the result.
So, was it any coincidence what was
on the solar disk that very day? As the Sun started to rise over the Isle of
Avalon on 2 February 2014, I clearly discerned an enormous naked eye sunspot.
In fact, later it was actually determined to be two extremely active regions
(denoted AR1967/1968), connected by a photospheric bridge, each capable of
emitting powerful solar flares. Furthermore, these two colossal spot groups –
each large enough to engulf the Earth many times, were approaching the Solar
meridian and thus highly directional to the Earth, so optimising their
potential connection of the solar magnetic lines of force with the ley lines.
The depiction below illustrates the rare circumstance. You may wish to view a
short video clip that shows the actual dynamics of these spot groups[2]; the time
of sunrise at the Tor on 2 February corresponds to the 1:06 mark on the video
footage.
State of the Sun (the Sun’s Weather) :

Thus, not only low solar elevations appear influential to the timing of
energising the Earth’s ley lines but also what activity transits the solar
meridian –when such bursts of plasma are directly facing Earth. One can only
conclude that, taken in unison, both circumstances amplify the ley line
energisation effect. Those who meditate should, therefore, be much more aware
of the Sun’s weather. We might only now begin to understand why the ancients
paid so much attention to the Sun and held it in such reverence.
Let us briefly return to the matter of clouds. The breadth of southern
England represents an excellent barometer for assessing the temporal extent of
cloud coverage and its distribution over sacred sites simply because this
landscape is one of the most dense areas of active telluric energy on the
planet.
To remind ourselves, this region
encompasses some of the most powerful and world renowned sites: the 240 mile stretch of the
Michael-Mary-Icknield axis, the spiritual heart chakra of the Earth – the Isle
of Avalon surrounding Glastonbury Tor, as well as Avebury and Stonehenge. It is
home to some of the most famous and ancient ecclesiastical centres in the land
including Winchester, Canterbury and Salisbury. It has also become the world
nexus for annual crop circle manifestation and, during the 1970s, the area was
popular for sightings of unidentified flying objects. And many may not realise
but this region also hosted the only known public transmission over a national
news network of an alleged extraterrestrial broadcast with an important message
for mankind. It was certainly the first occasion of such an event in these
Isles and, as far as one can establish, the world. For it was on Saturday 26
November 1977 17:10 UTC that the Hannington group of VHF/UHF transmitters were
commandeered and their normal broadcasts interrupted for six minutes. The
incident was closed without a publically announced conclusion following a short
official enquiry that lasted a reported 5 days[3]. So this
regions’ special ethereal quality is not in doubt and clearly speaks for
itself.
Only this week, official rainfall statistics showed southern England to
have experienced the greatest magnitude and distribution of rain in the wettest
winter on record (since 1910), receiving typically 200% more rain than the
whole winter average between 1981-2010. The official map clearly shows this
finding[4]. It, therefore, follows that cloud obscuration of
sunlight dominates along this sacred swathe more than any other region in the
land. Its vibrational state is thus at an all time low whilst its energetic
state of imbalance is at an all time high. The correspondence between this
highly sacred landscape and its present state of being seems uncanny if not
coincidental.
Gaia is Calling
The Foundation’s direction of attention on Glastonbury’s potent ley
energy and that of its hinterland, throughout over 60 countries at this time,
has not been by chance. It has, in fact, been guided.
Gaia is, indeed, reminding us that her heart is in need of immediate
attention. She is accentuating the fact that healing is essential, not via
chemistry, but by adopting a natural well intentioned energy process for
which the ley lines are of fundamental importance. This will resonate with
those who care sufficiently for the Earth and her peoples. They will step
forward to administer such healing.
One can imagine that Earth’s ley lines behave much as the meridians
that are known to exist in the human body. Just as a practitioner of
acupuncture would treat a patient, so we must equally approach our healing of
the Earth - first identify the meridians that connect to the vital and
disfunctioning organs, then apply a series of healing diagnoses. And anyone who
has regularly received traditional Chinese acupuncture will recognise the
‘explosion’ of chi energy that is released at a point appertaining to this
disfunctioning organ; it burns intensely to begin with then calms as the energy
blockage is slowly released and the prana optimally flows to achieve a state of
balance.
One affirmation of the
situation after 2 February’s event arrived from a dedicated group in Germany,
“I will give you a
little statement for this project. A small group of friends of the project in
the middle of last week was in contact with one of the species that is
principally engaged in the solar orbit for the energetic stability of Gaia. My
questions to him were:
Questioner : Which picture was seen from space especially
on Sunday?
Answer : Illumination of enormous energy, large parts
of the leys are enabled. Rejoicings!
Questioner : Is the heart, Glastonbury, free?
Answer : The heart, Glastonbury; is not yet freed.
Questioner : What can we do in this case?
Answer : Together
with other people make the heart free. Physical presence on site has the
highest effect.
Indeed, pilgrims have made their way and presence felt at the Tor for
thousands of years. In fact, Jesus is said to have been one and many have
followed in those Divine footsteps ever since.
A pilgrim can be defined as a person whose soul wishes to
journey to a sacred place for significantly spiritual reasons. This act of the
soul desiring to journey in what is termed a pilgrimage, clearly
suggests that the soul does not feel ‘at home’ and is searching for its true
place of sanctuary.
The word pilgrimage derives from the Latin peregrinus meaning
‘foreign’. This stems from the word peregre – ‘to go abroad’, which
itself originates from ‘per’ –through and ‘ager’ –field, or
simply, ‘through the field’.
A ley is basically an enclosure of grassland – in essence, a field.
Ley can be alternatively spelt as lay, laigh, leigh, leah
or lee and it is no coincidence that a great many places have this
syllable appended to their name.
Thus, one could interpret a pilgrimage as being a journey into a ‘new’
or ‘foreign’ landscape, notably on foot, traversing the leys, along a series of
‘straight lines’ or predefined pathways, that leads to the destined sacred site
and spiritual fulfilment. And believe me, it is not by chance that ley lines
are connected to each soul’s journey on the Earth.
The Tor overlooking the Isle of Avalon –
a place of pilgrimage for thousands of years.
|
Imagine how much intent must be inwardly summoned and converted
outwardly in terms of energy to make a dedicated pilgrimage across the world to
Earth’s heart. There may be all sorts of discouraging, distracting and opposing
forces that deny the journey – those of a personal nature could be family or
work commitments, health, finance or simply lack of spiritual awareness.
An example came to my attention in the last few weeks. A participant
from the Netherlands wrote an account of her attempted pilgrimage to Avalon in
recent days. En route her and her partner suffered a serious car accident in
which they were both fortunate to walk away with only minor injuries. Within
hours of this set back, she was also informed of her father’s sudden admission
into hospital and his critical condition. They turned back and sadly, before
she could see her father once last time, he passed away the following day; the
Foundation offers its sincere condolences to all concerned.
Recorded history reminds us that one of the reasons the Templars were
dispatched to the Holy Land was to safeguard the passage for inbound travelling
pilgrims. As suggested, the pathways were most probably along ley lines that
crossed the inhospitable landscape at that time. Assault and robbery was rife
making it considerably dangerous to travel. So consider the innate faith,
devotion and high degree of resolve within each pilgrim to make that journey in
such daunting circumstances. One might, therefore, deduce that the Templars
were not just on hand to guarantee each pilgrim’s safe arrival at the
destination but also to ensure that the vast accumulation of intent was kept
alive and progressing ever onward along the path. For it is this storehouse of
virtual energy over time that assists to power the sacred site and ‘illuminate’
the lines. The pilgrims become, in essence, the carriers of intent.
Thus, we begin to recognise that the journey itself is far more
important than arriving at the destination, for that is where the gathered
energy of intent is dissipated and thus transferred to and echoed by the Earth
grid as the path is traversed. Arrival is simply the manifestation of that
intent and represents just a tiny fraction of the energy expenditure of the
entire journey. As in our individual lives, the journey is the accumulation of
all what we come to experience. Without experiencing, we cannot learn. Should
we not choose to learn, then we cannot evolve to an increasingly higher state
of being and wisdom. There is a saying in competitive sport, “It is not the
winning, it is the taking part that counts.”; this adage derives from the same
philosophy of life.
A healer and participant from France made me aware of the channelled
message from the Angelic entity Kryon, delivered on none other than 2
February 2014 in Sarasota, Florida[5]. She
intuitively felt that some Kryon’s message was in response to what the ley line
community did on that day. There was clearly an explanation of our interactions
with the Earth grid and how the system works. Here are pertinent excerpts from
that communiqué,
“I represent that
which is the connection to the Higher Self and it is available in every single
human being on the planet in an equal way. But the ‘old soul’ has
practiced this so many times and so many ways, that you are the ones who have
the best tools in this new energy to pull it off. To find that connection, to
open it fully. And when it opens, a whole new set of tools is there. Not just
discernment but new concepts of living. New concepts that will create
solutions, if not to situations, at least to how you think about them.
If you have changed your reaction to the past, let me ask you, what do
you think around you has also seen you do it and is also re-writing the past?
i.e. those energies you call family, the crystalline grid and the Gaia grid.
The whole esoteric system reacts to the old soul’s actions. You think it is
self help? That’s foolish. You are not helping yourself, you are helping the
planet! And what happens when a group of you do it? It’s profound!“
Is it possible that the entire grid system that sits in this place, saw
what you did? And if that is the case and you know about what the grid system
is, i.e. a benevolent system that mirrors your intent ... what do you
think just happened? Because ‘old souls’ opened the door!
A possibility. It saw it. What you just did, in less than an hour,
changes the attribute a little bit of what the Earth thinks you are up to.”
The same French healer also submitted feedback of her experiences
following the 2 February event. Her words and imagery encapsulates Kryon’s
message – “a benevolent system that mirrors your intent ...” ,
“The weather was fine and sunny but after about 1 hour of meditations
and prayers, I was surprised to see that the sky above the abbey was of a very
clear cristaline and very deep blue, almost indigo. I have enclosed a photo
although the photo does not show the intensity of the colour it was. I received
as much as I was giving, may be even more. The sky remained like this around 15
minutes then it turned pale blue again before starting to darken. This was
powerful. For me this was a success.”
Earth Responding to Meditation : Azure blue skies in France |
Thus, despite not making it to the Tor, the aforementioned couple from
the Netherlands may take solace in the fact that the benevolent grid saw what
they did. It absorbed their motives and emulated the quality of energy that
they gave. The Earth changed a finite amount for the better. Everything has to
start with the individual soul. It has to be a ‘bottom-up’ approach rather than
a ‘top-down’. In one of his earliest books[6] written
at the outset of his journey, David Icke posed the question “Who is Healing
Whom?” In a nutshell, he answered as follows,
“Heal the world.
Three little words, with enormous implications. In fact they tell only part
of the story. Heal yourself, heal the world would be more accurate; and heal
yourself, heal the world and let the world heal you, would be even
more so.”
It must never be forgotten that we are all healers – some are
just in more advanced states than others thus creating a contrast in one’s own
ability to heal.
There has never been a better time to contemplate a pilgrimage to the
Earth’s spiritual heart. To rekindle the spirit of one of English literature’s
finest allegorys - John Bunyan’s “The Pilgrim’s Progress – from This World
to that Which is to Come” (1678). If it is not possible, then do not
despair. Bestow your well intended thoughts in another way and let Gaia see and
reflect what you are doing. Take a trip in the imagination as often as you wish
by visualising the image and Palden Jenkin’s beautifully prepared map appended
below. Observe the density of the radial lines emanating from the Tor
indicative of the sacred mound’s importance and celestial influence! Palden has
advised that the 1982 map presented is not his latest revision. Following
further checks and fieldwork, he has also made available his 2005 edition. It surely
demonstrates what the individual can achieve by mapping the sacred sites using
very little else than a national map and dedication. I highly recommend a visit
to his website[7].
Finally, I would like to acknowledge and thank all those who provided feedback
of their experiences since the 2 February event. Although it is not always
possible to respond to everyone, it is vital to receive your comments and
accounts so to improve our understanding as the journey continues.
Until the next update,
Mark
